I am a CFA Charterholder and law school graduate with over 15 years of experience working in Finance, focusing on the technology industry. I began my career in the Financial Services industry in Toronto before leading a team as Director of Decision Support for a data center company where I managed business cases for complex projects valued at up to $100M. I currently advise entrepreneurs and help them execute their finance strategies remotely using online tools to manage their businesses efficiently (accounting, payroll, contract management, insurance, etc.) I am tech-savvy and can help your business with a mix of abilities in hands-on analysis, leadership and strategy.

I work on a part-time, contract basis so that we can focus on the things that matter to you most. There is no long-term commitment and you avoid the headaches and inefficiencies that come with hiring more junior full-time employees, such as payroll deductions, compliance, severance pay, lawsuits and time spent inefficiently or doing 'make work' projects to fill 40 hours a week.

• Oversight of bookkeeping (reconciliation and journal entries).

• Limited weekly or monthly hands-on support where hiring a separate bookkeeper or accountant is inefficient, due to a low transaction volume.

• Provide your external tax advisor with Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Trial Balance documents generated in Xero, and discuss key issues. I do not provide tax advice but can help support your professional tax advisor as a liaison.
